Designed for precision and flexibility, the Core Cutter allows customers to produce their own custom core lengths in-house, eliminating the need to purchase multiple core sizes.
About The Jennerjahn Core Cutter
The Jennerjahn Core Cutter automatically cuts parent-length cores, up to 73 inches wide, into smaller widths to match the finished roll sizes required for slitting and rewinding. Designed for precision and flexibility, the Core Cutter allows customers to produce their own custom core lengths in-house, eliminating the need to purchase multiple core sizes. The Jennerjahn Core Cutter can be seamlessly integrated as a pre-process to the JLS Slitter Rewinder for a streamlined core handling process.
Equipped with an automatic core hopper that holds up to 100 sets of cores, the machine advances and loads cores as needed for continuous operation. A three-shaft servo-driven turret provides efficient core loading, cutting, and off-loading. The score cut knife assembly ensures clean, accurate cuts.
Trim removal and an integrated exit conveyor streamline material flow by transferring cut cores directly to the next stage of the converting process.
The Core Cutter also features a touchscreen operator interface with access to machine controls, setup screens, diagnostics, and manuals.
Two large polycarbonate doors on either side of the core cutter, along with coated mesh perimeter fencing and safety interlocks, provide operator safety while still allowing clear visibility of the machine during operation and easy access during core changeovers.
